CAN I ENCAPSULATE IF I AM HAVING A C-SECTION?
Absolutely!! Encapsulation will hopefully help you restore your hormones and also produce milk supply naturally after surgery.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY CAPSULES BACK?
Usually within 2-3 days after collection! My goal as a business owner is to give you the best experience and convenience during a fragile time. I aim to have it back within 24 hours to 36 hours at the most! If you're concerned and would like them back sooner i do offer a express turn around for a small fee*.
WHAT IF I HAVE STREP B?
Encapsulation is still fine to proceed, we do advise to only have Traditional Chinese method as the placenta is steamed to a high temperature before being dehydrated.

Your placenta is rinsed and cleaned thoroughly before being prepared. Only the Traditonal chinese method is advised to be done is meconium is present.
HOW DO YOU RECEIVE MY PLACENTA?
Once bub is born and the placenta is ready to be collected, i will arrange with your support person/ partner to meet me down stairs at the front of the hospital, quick and easy transaction. Once the capsules are ready to be delivered i will arrange to meet them in the same place other wise delivery at your home.
If that doesn't suit i can also come into the maternity/delivery ward and collect from the midwives. Due to covid restrictions and visitor restrictions collection outside of hospital is more suitable.

HOW DO I GET THE HOSPITAL TO RELEASE MY PLACENTA TO ME?
Your placenta is your organ, they do not need to release it to you. No paper work needs to be done. The midwife and doctors need to be aware before birth that you want to keep your placenta and it needs to be packaged it. Hospital normally supply a enclosed medical bucket and also a printed name stick for it. The midwifes are amazing with placing ice in with it until collection. Great idea is to take a cooler bag as a reminder for them or have it in writing in your hospital documents.
I DIDN'T ENCAPSULATE WITH MY FIRST/SECOND CHILD? WHY NOW?
